    Custom MCP connectors need a ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu plan, with connectors enabled for your workspace.

  2. Open Settings → Connectors, add a connector and choose the MCP type, paste the server URL for your region, then Connect and sign in to TeamRetro in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Which ChatGPT plans support custom MCP connectors?
Custom MCP connectors are available on ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans. The exact menu wording changes from time to time on OpenAI's side. See the TeamRetro MCP help article for the current steps.
Do I need an API key?
No. You sign in to TeamRetro in your browser with OAuth 2.1 when you add the connector; there's no key to paste.
The connector won't add.
Check that your ChatGPT plan supports custom MCP connectors and that connectors are enabled for your workspace, then add the server URL again and approve the sign-in.
Can ChatGPT see all of my teams?
It reads the teams you're a member of. Account-wide, cross-team insights are an Enterprise capability.
