Frequently asked questions

What is TeleRetro?
TeleRetro is a simple retrospective and pulse check tool that allows you to have a colorful background with AI-generated brainstorming questions and music as you run your agile retrospective with your team. It has a limited free plan for up to 3 public retrospectives and no pulse checks. On the other hand, TeamRetro is an enterprise-ready tool specifically built for agile retrospectives and health checks that improves meeting value, safety, and actionable outcomes. You can get insights for improvement and it has an easy-to-use and reliable interface that allows retrospectives to run smoothly. Beyond simple brainstorming, TeamRetro also captures data such as team sentiment, action item tracking, team health as well as other common agile metrics. The best thing about TeamRetro is that it is simple for people to use.
Is TeleRetro free? What are their paid plans?
TeleRetro has free and paid plans. Their free plan is for 1 team and 3 public retros only and does not include pulse checks. Their paid plans start at £26 per team per month down to £23.33 per team per month. Paid plans are required to access pulse checks, private retros and exporting data. Meanwhile, TeleRetro’s alternative – TeamRetro starts at $25USD for a single team plan with unlimited members, dropping down to $15 per team based on annual volume discounts. Enterprise grade security applies at all level plans and moving to an enterprise plan also provides insights into team sentiment, key agile metrics and overall team health tracked over a period of time. TeamRetro also has a free 14 day trial plan which allows you to explore all the features including health checks and private retrospectives.
Does TeleRetro provide health checks?
TeleRetro allows you to run mood polls and pulse check surveys that let you track results over time. Scores are tallied by team and results are displayed at the end of each pulse check. You can customize certain elements of the pulse check, but this is mainly limited to the questions. As an alternative tool, TeamRetro allows you to fully customize your health checks including using a Likert, emoticon or numerically based scale, customize question styles and allows people to add comments against ratings. You can also capture any proposed actions that come out of the health check. A visual radar shows you the range of responses from an individual health check model, through to a mood tracker which shows results over a period of time for each team and each health check dimension.
How do I integrate workflow tools with TeleRetro?
TeleRetro only integrates through Zapier.
Is TeleRetro safe to use?
TeleRetro is GDPR compliant only. It is not SOC 2 certified. TeamRetro on the other hand is SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR compliant and can be hosted in either the US or the EU on Amazon Web Services. Read more about TeamRetro’s security and GDPR statement. This ensures that your data is fully safe, private and secure.
How to make a retro private in TeleRetro?
If you’d like to strictly limit who can access a retro, you can do so using private retros on a paid plan. As an admin user, visit the Settings page from your Dashboard. Under ‘Retro Visibility’, select ‘Private’. Now, only signed in members of your team will be able to access your retros.
Who created TeleRetro?
Tian Yuan established TeleRetro in the year 2020. TeamRetro on the other hand is created by GroupMap Technology Pty Ltd whose key focus is on collaboration and group decision-making software application platforms.
