Agile estimation poker—also known as planning poker—is a consensus-based agile estimation technique used by scrum and agile teams to estimate story points, effort, or relative size of development work. Team members vote privately using cards, then reveal their estimates simultaneously to reduce bias and encourage meaningful discussion.
